That's my puppy!

I have always loved Goldens. They are truly cute when they are puppies and they grow up into such great, loyal friends. Very smart, too! Sarah looks great! Thanks for sharing!

She a smart little pup indeed... I think she's almost mastered using tools.... like using a stick to get a ball out from under the porch....

Good lookin' pup

I really like the retrievers, I just don't have enough room for one to run and play where I live during the week......

Let's see . . .

Brown Sugar (puppy) was overcome by ticks and died.

Kitty Blackie ran away never to be seen again, in a town the size of a postage stamp.

Licorice (dog) died of Parvo.

Pudge (puppy) ran over by car.

Cadbury (bunny rabbit) escaped, never to be seen again, in a town the size of a postage stamp.

Leo (leopard gecko) ate bark from tank and had intestinal explosion.

Kaiser (leopard gecko) stopped eating after Leo died. Starved to death.

Whopper (betta fish) freaked out in tank and died for unknown reason.

Obie (betta fish) likewise freaked out and died for unknown reason.

That's a horrific run of pets Texas.... and its not complete... YIKES! I understand your hesitancy now....

She's gorgeous. My family always raised English Bulldogs....hmm, a blog in itself, perhaps. One of them was in my wedding this summer as the ringbearer. Misbehaved, of course.

But bulldogs are dumb--it'd be nice to have a dog that learns how to obey. Using sticks to get balls out from under the porch? I thought it was a big deal that apes used bamboo to get ants out from their holes. A flaw in the evolutionary chain, then, your dog being so much smarter than apes.

I wish I would have gotten a tape of it... its freakish! She put the stick in her mouth, lay beside the porch and shook her head a few times while the stick was under there. It might have just been a lucky set of circumstances... but you know us dog owners... they always do the smart things on purpose
