Her stand on the teaching of creationism in schools is her only weak point with me personally

And here is what she really said about Creationism:
“I don’t think there should be a prohibition against debate if it comes up in class. It doesn’t have to be part of the curriculum.”
She added that, if elected, she would not push the state Board of Education to add such creation-based alternatives to the state’s required curriculum.
It worries me a bit that she says that it "doesn't HAVE to be a part of the curriculum" (apparently she doesn't understand that religion MUST NOT be part of the science curriculum). But apparently the only Creationism she wants in schools is in the form of debates. I don't mind the idea of science teachers telling children why religion isn't science.
