JU Writer's Club: Next Challenge

or; Sorry it took so bloody long, Maso . . .

I know, I know, I know. Maso asked me to find song lyrics back in December for the JU Writer's Club to be our next challenge.

Two months have come and gone, and finally, I thought of one that could be adequate inspiration! It's a song by my all-time favorite band, Rush, from their 1994 album Counterparts. (I warned Maso that I'd probably pick a song that no-one but BlueDev and I would be familiar with, and I did. But the lyrics are substantial enough to give you the needed inspiration. I might just run with this...but it'll probably be a few days. I have too much school work to do and I slack off enough as it is.

I do have an idea...so hopefully it'll develop when I try to write.

Well, I won't say about time (oops, okay, maybe I will ). Either way, I'm glad you finally got something up, mate. I've already got something in mind for this. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hmmm...I dunno.....I'll mull it over, sleep on it....drink a beer or two...on the weekend.....maybe then...who knows!

May have to sit this one out, sisters and bros. Got my hands full with business for a few days. I'll spectate when I get back. I'm helping clear out my dearly departed mother-in-law's house before month's end and it's 200 miles away. She passed away early in November and the house just sold. I expect to be tired when I get back. Will be up for the next challenge, though. Best wishes. - Don

I'm not either. I thought this one would be easy to write a story around, but it's resulting almost impossible for me. I've scrapped starts at least ten times.
