Not a conspiracy. the second that a company can make a reasonably priced, highway speed, long range electric vehicle there won't be enough "hush-money" in the world to make it go away. This crap has been floating about for a long time. Just check out AM coast to coast and you will find loons who have claiming this sort of thing for over 30 years.
