My soul I did out pour
Laid bare for you to see
Words on paper for you to read
Reading my soul
You lifted your head
And upon my soul you did tread
My nakedness on paper you did see
Your blindness so plain to me
As I bared my soul to thee
I cried out to you in naked adultery
Still you spurned me.
With a gush of violent bile
you burned my insides
Whilst upon my soul you did tread
Reading my soul
You lifted your head
And upon my soul you did tread.............
A poem out of my book "Journey to the other side of depression"
This poem was written to and for my husband who had a habit of disregarding my feelings.
