I've come to the conclusion in a recent blog about the Kibbutz Metzer that the venom against us in the face of such is really an unintended compliment. More is expected of us.
People expect the people of the Middle East to behave like animals and slaughter their own. The only time we take notice is when they overcome their inept backwardness and either manage to hurt us outside the Middle East, or dress themselves up and pretend they are diplomats.
You don't have to even look at the bloodbath in Iraq. Right now we are being told we should sit down and talk with Fatah and HAMAS, two organizations that are up to their necks in the blood of innocents, and that of their own people. There are people who have made a career of vengeance killings in Palestine, purposely targeting women and children with no apologies.
Let them live with the knowledge that even their closest allies think less of them than they do the US. They are expected to be barbarians.
