Here I dwell,
Enclosed in a frosty room.
No warmth, no love,
No hope gets through.
The crystal,
Freezing and biting,
Separating me,
From a world so inviting.
“Have faith.”
I hear some shout,
Shouting from outside.
On the other side of the window,
With their arrogance and pride.
You know not what I feel,
The pain and sorrow,
That I carry inside.
You are joyous and warm,
Not cold and sad.
‘Till then my love,
I shall observe you from afar.
You know not my feelings for you,
For I cannot speak them aloud.
The beauty you possess,
Warms my soul,
Though you do not know,
What feelings I hold.
You tell me some thoughts,
But I feel you hide others,
I do not blame you,
I conceal some feelings as well.
Here I dwell,
Within the icy prison,
Held back by fear,
Of your rejection.
