OK, I admit that my wife and I often sucum to the guilty pleasures of Animatl Planet from time to time.

Watching a feisty Australian but his extremities in harms way by way of snake, lizard, or croc? Sounds good!

Tolerating the horrible one-liners whicle watching 'America's Funnies Animals'? Sign me up!

But today, on the barren wastland of non-SuperBowl Television entertainment, we got the chance to watch one of the strangest things I've ever seen...Animal Planet's "Puppy Bowl".

Here's the premise...Make a 20ft by 10ft miniture of a football field. Put 6 puppies in it for 6 hours. Press record on the cameras.

Thats is.

I checked the listing...honest to God, this is a 6 HOUR SHOW! And they keep having instant replays of the weirest things.

Dog Drinks Water? INSTANT REPLAY!
Dog snifs another Doggs Butt? INSTANT REPLAY!
A bit of 3-Dog Humping on the 10 Yar line? INSTANT REPLAY!

Please, if you get a chance, put it on for just 3 minutes. It's one of those 'WTF' kinda funnies than catches you off guard.

Oh, and don't worry, if you miss it they have a DVD coming out.

I totally watched the puppy bowl!! haha...My husband and his friend were like WTF...I also called my mom and made her turn it on...I heard my dad cursing in the back ground. Go puppies go!!

The encore is on as we speak!

(I honestly do not know who would buy the DVD)

My favorite part so far is the "referee" who has to clean up after the fouls. Imagine his imdb.com entry...
