Ok today after few hours by Cairo Local time or tomorrow by the GMT timing will begin the first ever elections in Iraq after the late regime ,ok Tomorrow is a big day in history other then being my birthday ,but it is a big day Iraqis for the first time since a very very long time will choose freely who will rule them ,they will Practise democracy hopefully for the first time ,yet I doubt this democracy will succeed not because It is supported by the existence of American troops or Al-Qaida branch or other arab countries envy Iraq , I doubt this Democracy will not succeed because of Iraq itself
ok I look to Iraq and its history ,its people and its conditions whether in Past or the present and I see it as a mission impossible why
?because Iraq doesn't need a demcract leader but a dictator ,ok I know all of you are shocked but here is my reasons
-Iraq is full of ethnic groups ,different groups that are full of hate to each other ,with the memories of a very bloody hisotry "Goes to more than saddam era ,believe me",and as you see already the Sunni groups refuse the elections ,The Kurds want an independent state of their own despite all the hisotrical facts and the unity ,the Shiias even as they appear as an ally but it is not 100% to be sure of ,El-sdr is a good example ,if Alowi and El-sdr go for the elections against each other , Elsdr will win ,also The Shiia won't forget their mother land Iran ,Iran for them is just like Iseral for Jews and Iraq or especailly the Holy shiia parts in Iraq is like Al-Quds [Jerusalam ] for jews ,shiia will put in a choice one day whether to be with the americans or against them with the iranis and they will choose the latter ,not to mention the Turkmans who see their land is being stolen by the Kurds with the approval of Shia and Americans, and not to forget the Arab tribes ,their influnces and their traditions
as you see each ethnic group has its conditions ,demands and also history with other groups ,a bloody one too ,Saddam [sunni] fought Iran ,shiia made a revolution, shiia got punished and killed ,all Iraq was in prison under Saddam ,people hated each other ,the revenge of the past is somehow resting yet the Arabic culture of Revenge [which the Islam fought] is still there ,every one looks for his own interest not the countries interest as the result of any dictatorship rule
-They need to feel the importance of being united one country and this is difficult ,ignore El-qaida and the americans ,ignore even Saddam ,it goes to more than Saddam to a long set of bloody revolutions from Kassem to Araf to other ,the Iraqis unfortunally need a strong ruler who can gather them in law and order ,remember all this circus happening there is because the disappearance of that figure
It is an arabic culture goes to thousands of year Egypt ,Iraq and Iran must be ruled by some how dictator to bring order and Peace
what Iraq really needs is what Gamal El-Afgahani [I don't believe he is from the same country of taliban],the great islamic thinker in the last century said "Egypt needs an open minded dictator " and this rule works I guess on any civilized country ,ok another big how ,tell you how ,Here Shekih Gamal meant by dictator the strong leader who words are obeyed and has an influence on the people yet the liberal Gamal who defended the freedom of the society and expression like no other did or is doing even now refered to the word open minded as a condition ,here open minded is the closet word I could find to translate the arabic word ,it means a man who accept ,welcome and work witht the advice of the others
Well it is a real mission impossible to find such a leader a mix between dictatorship and democracy
Back to Iraq before I go to sleep here is a question from where all this money that is spent on the campagins !?
