Dear GalCiv3 modding community,

I regularly thank Stardock for their efforts, but I don't want to leave you out. You folks are the absolute best! I remember the heady days of GalCiv2, and the wonderful modding community we had then. I think it is even better for GC3! Certain people especially provide answers to questions within hours, and they are pretty much always right. Sharing information you fought long and hard to figure out for yourself is the height of generosity. Tolerating those of us who are still new to modding GC3 is saintly.

I don't want to name names, because I don't want to leave anyone out and I think this is generally true of GC3 modders, even the ones who haven't helped me (yet). Those of you who have helped me personally know who you are. I will pay it forward as best I can, by helping others and permitting fair use of my mod material (with credit, I hope). I'll do my best to credit everyone for their ideas and help in my mods, but if I ever fail, please let me know and I will fix it.

You have all contributed to my enjoyment of my favorite game, and again, I thank you.
