I opened a ticket but it has been ignored so far so let me try here. I recently purchased the upgrade to Object Desktop as I am a previous subscriber. Clicking on the "renew" button from my account page takes me directly to the checkout process which I completed successfully. I then download the utility that allows me to select and install applications that I have access to. Imagine my surprise when I find that only a few items are actually compatible with Windows 10. The main reason for my subscription being renewed is to get Window Blinds on my new rig that I recently purchased.
I now realize that the forums are full of warnings about the incompatibility of most of your applications with Windows 10. I also now realize that listed at the BOTTOM of your Window Blinds page in SMALL PRINT you display the incompatibility warning. But here is my issue with this. I purchased from my account page and went directly to the checkout process and at no time was I warned that most of the applications in the Object Desktop suite were not compatible with Windows 10. I was not given the opportunity to make an informed decision on my purchase and now I am stuck with nothing that I can use as my annual subscription slowly dwindles away. I should not be required to search through the forums before making a purchase.
So I am asking for one of two solutions:
- Refund my purchase and restore my account to its original state, or
- Once the full Object Desktop suite is compatible with Windows 10 start my one-year subscription on that date
