I had heard about this disturbing fact from my Democratic neighbors, the Waltons (or so they say?), at last month's town hall meeting. I live in a little town called Normal, Illinois. We had called a special meeting to discuss the new name for our town that had been decided upon in last November's elections. The tension created by the new Normal naming was far greater than that created by the presidential contest, don't you know. They, my democratic neighbors, were quite upset that there son's name was given to the Young Gay Scouts of America (a new organization created by the Obama Youth and Not So Young Scouts, created by the Youth for Abortion Rights Scouts<an organization created by the Militant Anti-Religion Youth Scouts>...oops, getting away from my subject a bit, huh? Anyway, it seems that when Mr. Walton registered as a Democrat last Spring, his personal info ended up in the hands of some deviants who spent a lot of time in the Bi-Den, Normal's only semi-gay night club. Perhaps they used the register info for an I.D. or something. Whatever the story, the constant use of the Walton name at the Bi-den, which as I said was, you know, well, that caused the Young Gay Scouts to assume that the Waltons were one of those pro gay families that want to have young people raising their clean fist and saying "gay pride, brother". The Waltons, (if that's there name), were not so mad about the gay scout thing, nor the Bi-Den biz, but the fact that their I.D. was used to buy high corn fructose drinks, which made them look like they were that type of family, because they were that type of democrats, don't you know.
Well, this story goes into much more strange territory than I have the time to get into, and me being a Republican-leaning independent, I don't want to sound too political. I do have a book deal coming up this year and although it's about pre-Obama Hawaii, I think I'll go more into detail about the Waltons and the importance of checking out who's who when you register to vote. Even in a state like Hawaii one has to be on guard,
