In the desert
I find myself yet once again
But I remember from whence
My bones cry out
Cry out for the darkened forest
And the star sky
The wind and sand
The horizon without shoreline
I must then return home
Yet once again
To the north woods
Smell of pine
To the sun swept
Endless expanse of dunes
Of cream creased sand
Back to my home then
Yet once again to my
Soul's reprieve
To the baking sun and
Ice crystal stars
Of my spirit's name
Endless water
Endless sky
Endless northern pine
Endless sand
Yes, yet I have found her once again
