The bridal shower that my cousin Melissa just had was the first bridal shower she's ever had in her honor.  It was a really fun time that was hosted by her father's sisters.  Melissa was so excited to see all of her family members and to see them all excited about her wedding.

Among the many gifts she received were an abbi new york laptop bag, a national geographic backpack for her fiance, dinnerware, glassware, towels, and of course she got the random one of these.  She blushed so much and it was so funny to see the look on her mom's face when she opened that present.  My mom was the one who gave it to her, and she loves to embarrass people. 

My cousin and I are the best of friends and always have been.  I'm the maid of honor in her wedding actually.  I'm excited to go to the rest of her bridal showers and to put together her bachelorette party.  We got to hang out after her bridal shower and went out to eat at Penn Station, our favorite restaurant.  Then we saw a movie afterward, which made the whole day just perfect.
