I got to go to a bridal shower today for a very close and very dear friend of mine.  We've been best friends since the third grade, and we are 25 now.  What's funny is that we used to not like each other, but then we grew to love each other.  She is marrying another best friend of mine, who is actually my husband's best friend.  My husband and I are actually both in the wedding.  We are really happy that we get to share in being a part of their wedding day.  They are two awesome people that we love a lot. 

I also got to see and talk with another best friend of mine from high school.  She's 8 months pregnant and so beautiful.  She is happily married to her awesome husband.  I've never seen her so happy than when she is with him.  I loved catching up with her.  I'm excited to meet her baby boy when he finally comes.  He's actually going to have the same first and middle name as my husband.  She thought that that was hilarious.  We had a great time joking around together during the shower.  She actually won one of the games we played and received this.  She was so excited that she won.

The groom showed up after the shower to check out all the gifts they got.  He had just come from their house that they just bought and are fixing up, so he was talking about all the wooden dowels and wood finials he was working with.  Needless to say, he was very tired and maybe not as excited about the shower gifts as he would have been if he hadn't been working all day.  It was good to see him and catch up with him as well.  Now I'm at home enjoying some much needed time with my husband.  We are watching the latest SNL together.  They did this hilarious spoof on Twilight, you can see it here.  That's all for now.  Peace.
