Okay, so ive been posting about different religions for elemental, and apparantly they keep getting vastly ignored.
Im not exactly sure why, but one of the users thought having ANY religion at all represented in the game could be inflammatory. I mean, no one playing FFH gets offended by the Ashen Veil, Order, Empyrean, Fellowhip of Leaves, Runes of Kilmorph, ect ...
While it IS true that the religions of FFH are so tightly woven into the lore (angels and demons being a common and important theme), I think the main thing to draw from this is that All "main angels" from whom the religions are drawn are tied to an element, (even though in FFH there are 21 elements, called Spheres) ... and these Elemental angels, and Elemental religions did not cause offense to the player-base.
I like to think of each religion (and sphere) as a region of human-thought and process, and that they are all connected, you cannot have one without the other, ectetera.
Im not sure if Elemental actually has any plans on various religions being any part of the lore or the game-play, although I personally think picking a religion, and how tolerant/strict you are on other religions, is a KEY part of immersion.
I hope some-one can tell me just what is inflammatory about fantasy-religions that some people think will lead to Real-life religion flame wars?
