Thorns
Jut out of our sides
and a trickle of blood falls
down down down
in the snow
frozen 'fore we summon first aid tricks
The Peers that stalk hallways
and the bullies of my heart
stone my esteem
But as the saying
(Maybe)
goes:
They'll never break me
A boy
not so far away
And not so much of their word
Normal.
Stole some scraps of bisulfuate powder
and did a line
He made a step in time
And he hung up the line.
And these stories are just what I know
But how do we live with ourselves?
Hands clean; hearts pungent
They may as well tear out our hair
And sew a wig for them to wear.
There's a girl
down the lane
With a trampoline heart
And a toddler tending her arms
Singing
Momma, momma
Screaming
Momma, momma
When will those bastards see
That they tear us apart.
And every bit and gerrund you snicker
Is cruelty
For you out there
That may hear;
Listen for the Angels
And find refuge there.
Dry your eyes.
and please don't hurt
First aid will find you
Before you freeze.
