Muggaz...you have my sympathies...and empathy.

A little while back Joe User poster boy Muggaz wrote an article expressing his sorrow at the loss of being able to blog on the job. Link This morning I have found that I now share his fate. Because I work at a school, our server filters out a lot of stuff for various reasons, some obvious, some rediculous. The filter description on Joe User suggests that I can no longer access the site because it is "pornographic." Well, asside from the occasional fictional porn star holding a blog here, I we'd all agree it would be a stretch to say we are all a part of a pornographic blogging community. Why can't the filter just say "GET BACK TO WORK." I'd find this much more reasonable...and entertaining.

Still, it does pain me that I cannot even access the site even when I'm off the clock...but it was nice while it lasted.

I was surprised when I first starting blogging at Joeuser how many people were allowed to do so at work. Unfortunately, I sit on my ass all day long using the Internet as a primary source of communication, but alas, I'm not allowed off our system's links.
Now... get back to work!

- based on the title, I thought the Jaded one had attacked you calling you Osama or Hitler Jr. or something!!! haha...

I am glad that hasn't happend - and you have only been regulated in your blogging experiences... It's a pain in the bottom, but my work has improved dramatically, I can assure you of that!!! just think of it as tough love!!!

I've decided that Blogging on the Job needs a cool acronym. BOTJ just doesn't cut it....any suggestions?

hey, i'm REAL ... ( i know, i know, you meant miss-bra-size-larger-than-iq and her 'look at me' blog)

It could even be BAW - Blogging At Work, then we could use it as a verb. One could begin their blog with "So I was doing some BAWing today when a coworker came up to me and demanded to know who ate the last poppy seed muffin....."
