Let me be frank:
I've been here before. This is my third attempt at blogging on this site, and I've no doubt that some of you will recognise me in the things I have to say and will be saying. Perhaps some of you will find that shocking and detestable. Perhaps some of you will find it intriguing and want to know more.
Now I shall be more carefully explicit in introducing what I'm doing with this blog than I was in either of my two previous attempts.
This blog has the purpose of discussing contemporary American politics and society from the point of view of Civil Authoritarianism, which is not to be confused with Fascism except insofar as Civil Authoritarism and Fascism both exalt the State.
Both do so on the basis that politics is one more aspect of life, and like life as a whole is a matter of Will, Desire, and Decision, rather than a matter of debate. Both recognise Reason as the servitor of the Passions rather than their ruler. It is the Passions of a man that determine the ends he will pursue, it is Reason that decides which means are most expedient to those ends, it is Will which determines whether Passion and Reason result in impotent fantasy or in concrete Action.
The great differentiation between them lies in the attitude of the Civil Authoritarian to questions such as race. The question the Civil Authoritarian asks is not 'What race are you?' but 'Do you serve the State in those few areas where there is a fundamental obligation to do so?' If you can say yes to that question the State has no further interest in you other than the diligence and competence with which you carry out your duties.
Race, sex, sexuality, who you fuck, who you marry, what god you worship and whatever form that worship takes (provided it does not compromise the citizen's sense of duty to the State), all these issues are reduced to tangencies and epiphenomena.
Hitler once said that all true Leaders are Magickians, by which he meant that they shape the political universe through Will and Decision, rather than through processes of consultation and debate. I have much sympathy with that statement. I am a Ritual Magickian, as I once indicated unclearly in a previous blog. I have seen the effects of Will bound to Ritual manifested in my own life and since (like all active believers do) I relate my faith to my politics there will be occasions when references to Ritual Magick are made here.
This blog is also meant as a critique of and a meditation upon every aspect of American life as I encounter it - but in particular its politics; a denouncement and a castigation of the so-called 'right' in the abandonment of its history and principles, just as much as a condemnation of the 'left' in its perpetual victimhood and self-pity.
The twilight of your idols is upon you, motherfuckers, and I'm here with a hammer to announce the onset of night.
As I said once before, I'm gonna fuck you up.
