He'll likely not take it as easy as he should (too much macho).
Nope, he ISN'T taking as lightly as he should. He walks around the house without his immobilizer or brace on and it drives me crazy. I think that's part of the reason he's doing it, to be honest.
He's on convalescent leave for 6 weeks. 6 WEEKS.
Thank gawd I have a job.
congrats on a successful surgery, and best wishes on a speedy recovery
Thank you, and it's lovely to see you again!
I'm glad he's doing well. I hope he is 100% soon
Thank you, and me too!
Glad to hear I didn't sacrifice those hamsters for nothing, bwuahahah.
Carry on, carry on, all will be well in the end, my friend |
Nope, the rodent sacrifices were very helpful!
It WILL all be well, and I know it. You said something the other day that really hit a note with me, and I went off and did some more reading and thinking after you'd said it (it was something about it all serving the perfect will of god) and I have come to the conclusion that you are totally correct in your assessment. By the way, do you have any more reading suggestions for me?
Count me as hoping that the healing process goes smoothly and quickly and that he winds up as good as new or even better when everything is done.
Thank you, I'll pass that on to him.
tell him that if this old woman can do it, so can he!
I tease him and tell him that he's got a Robo-Knee....
Having him allow you to look after him is huge!
It IS a big deal, and I know it! He still thinks I don't know what I'm doing, no matter how much I do it.....
I am glad to hear he is following the doctors orders - and not trying to do it on his own.
He's trying his best to follow orders, but he does get a bit unruly at times. I'm setting him straight again, though. He knows that he's got to do what I say or else I'll just make him miserable.....bwahahahahahahah!!!!
