An SR22 filing is a legally binding insurance document issued by an insurance company to end the suspension order placed on a driver’s license by the Department of Motor Vehicles. The SR22 certifies that the individual for whom the filing is being made on behalf of is insured for at least the minimum auto insurance liability limits required by law.
