We are a family of three. We do laundry every few days. We run the dishwasher almost daily, but not always. Each one of us bathes every 1-2 days. My husband recently went 4 days without a shower (gasp). We don't use the tap water for drinking or cooking.
So when last month's water bill amounted to us having used 4300 gallons of water, we were taken aback. Yes. 4300 GALLONS!!!
This can't be right! They charged us an extra $20 for going over 1000. Maybe we have a drip or a leak somewhere. I mean, 4300 gallons sounds like a bit much considering our modest water usage. Isn't 4300 of water park proportions?
How much do you use? Should we look into this further?
