The different types of surgical equipments and procedures such as anesthesia is also described about elaborately in the medicinal branch.Urdhvanga chikitsa deals with treatment of all the organs situated above the neck (hence Urdhvanga).Graha chikitsa deals with various psychological disorders.Jara chikitsa enhances health, longevity through Rasayana therapy. Damstra chikitsa deals with Toxicology and thus studies and treats poisoning and toxination. Vrishya chikitsa is the branch for treatment of infertility and describes about drugs act as aphrodisiacs.
