I'm sure everyone has a day of the week that they typically like to watch television or movies.  It differs depending on everyone's schedule of course.  However, I have grown addicted to my Movie Mondays.  My husband and I borrowed the idea from The Office, and we have made it a tradition in our home.  We even have a lot of friends who will come over join us for the event.

We come up with a few guidelines to make Movie Mondays the best it can be.  A different person has to pick the movie every week, so that no one person can dictate all the movies that are being watched.  Also, the kind of movie that is picked doesn't matter, but the person picking it has to prepare a speech on what the movie is about, why they picked it, and what their favorite aspect of the movie is.  That way we are only watching peoples favorites .  This past week we watched our friend Chris' favorite which was The Burbs.  

I love to put on my only pair of Grey's Anatomy scrubs and make a hot cup tea before Movie Monday starts.  My husband is picking the movie tomorrow, and I think it's a pirate movie because he dug out his men's pirate costume the other day.  I think he also has some of these that he is going to decorate the living room with lol.  He's quite creative.  I can't wait!
