Every day it gets closer to the day that our best friends Chris and Lisa get married.  If you've been married before, you know that this is the time that the bride has showers thrown for her and the bachelor/bachelorette parties start happening.  Since I'm a bridesmaid in their wedding, I've been having to go to all these parties as well.  This past Saturday Lisa's maid of honor threw her a bridal shower and bachelorette party in the same day! 

I've never had to go to two parties for the same bride on the same day before, so I didn't quite know what to expect.  The bridal shower was first, and it went well.  The only draw back was that the people who were invited were the bridesmaids and Lisa's family's friends.  So basically there were two big clicks of people that Lisa had to work hard to unite lol.  She got some unique gifts, include a horse shower curtain .  She also got some Crumpler bags that were really cute to use for their honeymoon.

The bridesmaids were granted about an hour break, but then we had to meet back up to go to dinner for the bachelorette party.  We were meeting everyone who didn't come to the shower at the restaurant.  It was a fun time hanging out with all of my friends.  We went back to the maid of honor's house to open gifts and play games.  Lisa was so cute and funny opening all of her lingerie.  She got some skanky versions of this stuff, which I think scared her a bit lol.  It was a fun day overall, but pretty tiring.
