I believe I've mentioned on here that The Hunger Games is one of my all time favorite book series.  The whole series hasn't been published yet, but 2 of the 3 in the series have been.  The third and final install of the series comes out in August this year!  What is also cool is that The Hunger Games movie is supposed to come out in 2011!  I seriously cannot wait for this . 

The movie makers have some big shoes to fill for The Hunger Games.  They really need to do a great job on this movie.  I have a few people in mind for certain roles in the movie.  I think that Hugh Laurie from House would make for a perfect Haymitch.  Mickey Rourke is President Snow, there's no questioning that.  And you may disagree with me on this one, but I really think that Jake Gyllenhaal would make the perfect Gale.  Yes, I know his eyes are blue, but that is easily fixed with contacts.  As for Katniss, I have no clue.  What's your opinion on who should play Katniss?  I was thinking someone who is new and who can sing.

I think that books that are made into movies usually aren't as good as the books, but if they use the cast that I suggested then they will have a good shot at it .  It's going to be cool to see who they choose for all the roles.  My husband just started reading the Hunger Games and he absolutely loves it!  Isn't that awesome?!  I love being able to talk about it with him.  We are going to read Mockingjay togther when it comes out, which will be so much fun.  Can't wait!  Peace.
