I've made a decision to try to start making new friends lately.  The reason is because I love people and I'm really interested in their life stories.  What I say to people to break the ice is I ask them what their favorite things are, because this generally gets them talking for a while.  People's most favorite topic to talk about is themselves lol.  It's not a bad thing, it's just true.

Because I've been doing this, it's got me thinking about what my favorite things are and I've decided to make my own list of favorites.  My favorite thing to do with my spare time is read, although most of the time I don't have very much spare time.  My favorite book series is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.  I've lost count of how many times I've read the two books in her series so far.  My favorite character in any book is Edward from the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer because he is self-sacrificing in his love for Bella.  My favorite telelvision show is The Office because it never fails to make me cry laughing.  

My favorite thing to drink is genmai cha tea.  My favorite sport to play is soccer, but my favorite sport to watch is football. My favorite thing to collect are these because they can also serve a function lol.  My favorite kids television show that I've never told anybody is backyardigans because I love the songs they sing .  My favorite movie, right now, is New Moon because it is also my favorite book in the Twilight series.  And those are some of my favorites.
