Last week I went with my wife to our nephews birthday party. I always know I'm in for a crazy time when I head to a childrens party because you mix family, friends of the kid, and friends of the parents all into one big mess of a party. This party had Yo Gabba Gabba party supplies all over the place. I'm talking cups, plates, napkins and everything you could ever imagine. If you've never seen that childrens show you should check it out if you want to question your sanity.
I met a guy there who started talking to me about everything you can imagine. He filled me in on his latest Doctors appointment (thanks for that) and then he began to tell me about his latest job at work doing a sports facility feasibility study for a local company considering opening a new place. He hinted that it might be a place where some of the Reds would work out, but I think he seemed pretty full of you know what on that one. I'm not sure how he was missing all of the negative visual clues I was giving him, but he kept on blabbing to tell me about the new jewelry he got his wife. Finally I was saved when my wife realized she had forgotten our gift for Jacob. I got to leave!
I think I'm going to begin pretending I don't speak English at these things in the future.
