Let me start off by saying that only I would come down with some weird ailment like this one.  It occured around 1am last night when I woke up with some stomach pain.  The pain was more like a soreness so I just chalked it up to having a pulled muscle from working out and went back to bed.  When I woke up again in the morning to take my husband to work, the pain was intensified.  So I started feeling around on my stomach and found a big pink bump coming out of my belly button.  I also noticed all the puss and blood that was oozing out of it.  I totally freaked out.  I had no idea what it was and it was making me so nauseated just to look at it. 

As the day went on I started to develop a fever and was getting more nauseated.  The puss was really smelly and the bump was really really painful. I decided to get online and do some research.  The answer I found was a lot less crazy than what I thought it was going to be.  It turns out that I have an infection in my belly button.  My symptoms match all the symptoms that were listed.  While it still sucks, its manageable.  So I just cleaned it out with some hydrogen peroxide and put some neosporin on it.  It seemed to help, but it still hurts a lot and I'm still running a fever and nauseated.

I really hope that I get better by tomorrow.  Tomorrow is Halloween after all!  I can't wait.  It's going to be great.  To help ease my excitement about my day tomorrow I've just been working and doing some chores.  I'm also making Halloween cookies!  I called my mom and she informed me that she is going to be by herself tomorrow because my dad has class for his doctrate program.  So I think my husband and I are going to head down there when we are done with our Halloween stuff.  I'm also going to go over there early tomorrow to get her to help me get ready for the day.  It will be great!  Well, I'm gonna watch the halloween episode of the office and then get back to work.  Have a happy Halloween!  Peace.
