What the hell is Zoundry Raven?

Chuck ask yourself if you'd really want to carry on a conversation with someone that wants to do all of the talking and none of the listening. You're way too sensitive if anything a person can say to you here can get you upset. Even the worst someone can say has zero effect on your life, even more so on line. Thin skin is only a weakness that people who wish to exploit it in order to aggravate you, will consistently use.

Can it really be possible to dislike someone on JU because you disagree? IMO no. This place, no matter how many times you write, hardly constitutes knowing a person.The folks I agree with, for all I know, might be the biggest a..holes on the planet, while those I disagree with might be a close friend under other circumstances. Besides most everyone here had had a disagreement of opinion with even like-minded folks.

Some people take even the slightest criticism to be a personal attack, that's unfortunate. Of course this medium is partly to blame as it is hard to gage a person by written words. Most everyone would say something slightly different in person if they had a chance other than writing it.

When I was in the military, I had numerous men and women come up to me, later in their careers, and tell me they thought I was being hard on them because I didn't like them until time went by and they realized it was nothing personal. Some were just not use to hearing "whatever" put to them straight, in a blunt manner, and they didn't like it. Only later did they realize that's just what they needed. Same happened to me. There is always someone you look back at that called out your nonsense at one or more points in your life, and most would hold those people in high regard later.

So, I recommend you don't let anyone here get you down. Unless you're on a technical thread and even sometimes then, everything else is just opinion. Turn off the PC for awhile, there is much more than this out there.

It's actually the software I use to post my blog. It gives me many options such as spellcheck, easy links, upload photos to picasa and other sites and it's portable. It helps me keep track of all the articles I post. Pretty neat software, you should try it out.

To each his/her own. I don't care much for people who abuse their ability to post. If you get out of hand you'll be delt with, but I have yet to deal with anyone who goes that far. Those who get rude with me I just ignore them and move on. Personal attacks can be fun sometimes, it just allow people to show their ignorance and a good chance to shut them up afterwards. If I was to ban everyone who bugged me in some way my articles would be even more boring than they already are. I already struggle to get people to read them as it is.

Sure, and there are those that will judge a person based on their race, ethnicity, religion, sex, or even where they are from. Dosen't make it right, but, that's not me. Personally, I take a person for what their worth, by their own actions or inaction. I'd say it has served me well. But, I've been fortunate enough to live and work directly with people of all backgrounds, where I've had to depend on them and they on me.

Well, that was anti-climatic.

An annoying one.

If I see something on TV that I find offensive, I turn it off.  If a song comes on the radio I don't like, I change the station.  When I start a book that doesn't keep my interest or is full of crap, I quit reading it.  If someone comments on a thread and I find it trollish, I scroll down to the next box.  This is a talent I have acquired since coming to JU, I didn't have it when I got here.  I learned that arguing with some folks on line is like wrestling with a pig...everyone gets dirty but the pig LIKES it.  Does this offend you?  Don't read it.

I love it. That's a great line you got there.

I only ever blacklisted one person... there are plenty that i consider insufferable fools beyond redemption, but only the most abusive and annoying get the boot.
