Is a vegan better than one who eats normally?
Uh...not in my opinion. I dislike people that munch on plants all day thinking that they're better than people who eat meat.
If you want to be vegetarian, that's fine...whatever makes you happy...though demonizing someone who enjoys a good slab of meat isn't cool.
I love animals...hell I'm a zoology major, but I also enjoy eating them. I don't see how there's a moral component...it's not like a sadistic act. Slaughter and consumption of animals has been happening since there were animals to slaughter and consume by humans, other animals, and even the occasional plant.
Plants are also alive...no one seems upset when we harvest them by the ton. It just seems an odd argument to place yourself on a moral high ground because you don't eat meat. Why are animals taboo but killing innocent plants somehow okay? A life is a life, is it not?
