Ok, how has he not fully supported the country? The lapel pin? Is that the best that anyone can come up with?
No there's alot of stuff that gives me and others pause. You mentioned just one. The fact that he was seen arms stiff at his sides while the pledge was being recited. His heavy inolvment with Kenyen Muslim politics even doing some campaigning there. His invovment including giving large sums of money to Rev Wright and his causes. His wife's admission of how she had never been proud of the US until just recently etc. Never?
Where have you been?
I'll also ask this question here... what does it matter if his family has members who are muslim? Even militant ones? Are you telling me that no one in your family is a little bit off their rocker? Should we judge you by the actions of members of your family?
I think his background especially when it's so heavily Muslim influenced should be looked into. Yes. How do you know he's not a mole for the Muslim cause?
We all have family eccentrics and should not be held accountable but that's not what I'm speaking of. Besides, if you look closer at his friends connection there should also be some eyebrowing raising like I mentioned on my other blog dealing with this same issue. Friends like Rev Wright, his childhood mentor Frank Davis and even Oprah the most powerful woman in America.
All I'm saying is, his lack of experience, his questionable background and current affiliations, his seemingly lack of patriotism and the fact he just came out of nowhere should give us all pause. It's just common sense. He's young enough. If he's Presidential material, then let's see him back in four years after he's been in the spotlight a bit. Right now that's why I'm saying this is a no brainer.
We would be really stupid to jump the gun and put this man in the Presidential seat when there still seems to be so many questions surrounding him.
