Alrighty, I'm starting a new "diet". Ok, So actually it's a diet pill so I don't think it really counts as a diet.

Day 1 Starting Weight.... 226. pant size is Mens 40 (I don't where womens jeans, I don't find them comfortable or flattering, I have an odd frame)

So my diet pill of choise is called Equitrim and since I can find nothing about it on the net, I'll post what I can about it for other that may be intrested. Then if any doctors have oppinions on this, or anyone else for that matter, it can be posted here, and people considering this can see them and make a more educated desision than I did.

Product name: Equitrim

Company name: Equitrim Institute

Promise: Incredible! It's here at last.... direct from Brazil. 4 tablets only to lose up to 24 lbs, what more could you want? Now all women have the chance to slim and stay slim.... with only 4 tablets and nothing more Equitrim! The Brazilian Secret is at last available to all. The Discovery of the Century! A single Equitrim tablet enables you to lose up to 6 lbs in 5 days. It's proven! No dieting... No drugs... No effort... No itredness.... Not a thing to do! (Note: This is straight off the ad and not my opinion, I don't know if it works yet, that's what I'm trying to find out *L*)

Ingredients: Canca Papaya, Citric acid, Citrus Aurapturn, Citrus Grandis, Citrus Lomonen, Garcinia, Glycyrhizza Clabra, Natural Lemon Flavor, Polyvurvioyrrohdose, Sacchann, Silicrum, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Ester, Sorbitol (Note: some may be misspelled, the ink rubbed a little and it's kinda hard to read)

Directions for use: Place one tablet in one large bottle of water (32 fl. oz) in the morning of your first day of treatment. Drink this throughtut the day or during the morning hours. Continue to drink lots of water. During the following 4 days it is important to drink at least one large bottle of water per day. We cecommend two large bottles of water (32 fl. oz) a day. On the 6th day of treatment you begin the process again by adding one tablet to a large bottle of water. Continue these instructions until you have attained your disired weight. Do not take more than one tablet in each 5 day period.

Cautions: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding please seek the advice of your medical practioner before using.

Cost: 19.95 for 4

Company info: P.O. Box 3913, Las Vegas, NV 89127, 1-866-648-1878 it was shipped from Zurich, with a customs Declaration and return address is CC International, SPI UK 077, 4002 Basel Switzerland

That's actually about all the info I have about it.

So like I said, i just started it today, in my opinion, the tablet makes the water taste horrible, so I drank it as fast as I could and chased it with another bottle of water *L* I haven't felt tired or anything today, I have felt just fine, no headaches, tummy aches, abnormal strange things anywhere. I would say I was sweating a little more than normal, but I was also working harder than normal so that's not unusuall either.

I will post as often as I can about my progress, wish me luck! And yes, I'm going to chat with my doctor about this soon.

I must have missed something.... After the first day or two? The instructions I have is to take one tablet, once ever 5-6 days, not everyday. Also, are you sure you can't attribute the weight loss and energy just to the fact that you are drinking so much water/juice everyday?

I double checked, the instructions clearly state, no more than 1 tablet every 5 days. I do hope that you are taking it right, especially since we don't know what health concerns there may be. Good luck.

Don't buy it. It's junk. I finished my 4 tablets and was following my weight watchers diet. Of course sometimes I would cheat a bit, but no enough to hurt it too much. I didn't expected 24lbs, but I was hoping maybe a 5-6lbs loss. When I weighed in last night I gained 1 pound. So no it doesn't work it's like they say.... there is no miracle pill. Eat right, don't eat too late in the evening, and try to make time for either an early or evening walk. Best thing is if you can invest in a treadmill. Best of luck God Bless, Happy Holidays!!!!

LOL, Linda, that was pretty funny.  I think this article pretty much proves that it shouldn't be purchased.

I did drink my 4th pill and didn't lose the extra 5 that I thought would be nice if I did. I have 4 more, but I will not waste my time on this stupid stuff anymore. I'm confident the weight loss I've had is due to exercise. I have a work out buddy and we get together a few times a week and do a work out video, now that it's too cold outside to go walking. We go to the library and rent different videos to give us a variety. We always look forward to see what our "new workout" is going to be. Good luck everybody! Happy Holidays!

My husband and I both are (were) on it for 2 bottles. Dedicated to it, in fact. We each lost 3 lbs. the first 4 weeks so guess we're not doing something right.

Well, I had gotten this Equitrim flyer also and after reading these comments about it and not being able to find their own personal website; I believe I will not order it. Thanks for all the helpful info; I just wish it would've really worked. It seems like all these diet pills just seem to give people false hope and I don't believe that is right. For someone who really needs to lose weight; it's like a game for the people who come up with this crap. Anyways, I'm not ordering it; I'll just try walking and eating right!

Sallyanne, you should read the rest of the comments, so far, none has had luck with this product, it's a worthless water pill. If you are lucky enough to lose any weight with it, you will put it back on as soon as you stop taking it, a few people have reported a weight GAIN with the product. I know there are a lot of comments here, but they are worth a good look. If you do use the product, we would like to hear the results.

sweetness, all the ordering information is in the article itself. The article is quite literally all the information I could find, directly from the company.

My sister in law lost 20 lbs with that pill, and she ate whatever she wanted and didn't do any exercise. She ate ice cream and chips and whatever. It all depends on the person, everybodies bodies are different, and different medicines affect peoplep differently. And I'm going to try it.

Hi,
I just received the ad for Equitrim. I am curious, what was your sister-n-law's starting weight and age? Did she lose up to 6 lbs each week like it claims. How is she maintaining the weight loss now? After reading all of the other comments about the pill, I was about to change my mind not to order it until I read your response. Thank you.

Hmmm, *pondering* Why would one persons responce change then entire outlook of something? Especially when there are what? 50 negitive responces...... Guess it's a thing that makes you go "hmmmmm". Or it could be a thread of hope that maybe, just maybe a wasted $30 may just JUST work. So Dad 1917, I would like to hear how it works for you, since it hasn't for the rest of us.

hey julie,
you say your sister-in-law lost 20 lbs. on this equitrim diet pill thing.what i would like to know is what is her body type and if you could tell me what her starting weight was i'd like to know that too. reasons being i'm trying to decide if i want to try this and thought perhaps seeing if a successful story may have some weight in comparison to mine and even the body type, it sure would help me decide if i really wanna go there or not. thanks!!

I would have appreciated some entry after the first day in July. Did "L" die? Did she lose weight? Did she get lost in cyberspace? Whoever manages this site must have an email address, even if she does not answer at least try to make sure she is OK. VE, Oregon

"L" if you would read carefully, the "mypillsworked" was referring to the Maggie Drowzd pill not EquiTrim and she did say so. I appreciate the comments and feedback you facilitated because of your experience, really. Has anyone tried "Java Tea"? I have the added problem of no health insurance, no doctor, very little budget, a car accident injury (not my fault), severe late stage arthritis in my feet, and 2 years of forced sedentary lifestyle. Most of you have some kind of obstacles I am sure. Even though some comments were perhaps a bit glib, there may indeed be no supplemental help to ease the 45 extra pounds I have and do not want. Just the same I appreciate hearing the experiences of others who have managed to lose and control their weight, looking for a solution that I can adhere to. Thanks,

i too just received the equitrim flyer in the mail--went right to my computer-all i typed in was equitrim and i found a few links but not a company site.
i'd like to know if there is anyone out there that has lost with this.
the only thing i've have ever found that has helped alittle is leptrin- i don't think i'm spelling that right. it's the commercial on tv that starts--when is
a diet pill worth a $153.00---anyway it's the cheaper verson of that. you can buy it at wal-mart or walgreens. i really thinks it works but i always forget to take it.
i took 2 yesterday morning before i ate-and couldn't finish my meal--full, then later in the day i took 1 and ate a couple pieces of toast and was
extremely full. if i could just remembe to take it i think it would help.
anybody else ever taken this.

VE, Oregon - Who is "L"? Is that me? Cause I have posted numerous replies and follow up articles to this one. I have previously mentioned that it did nothing for me. I have tried a few other pills but since I have IBS It's difficult to find ones that don't aggravate my tummy. At current, I don't know my weight, since I got rid of my scale. I don't actually want to know how much I weigh, I would rather gage it by the fit of my clothing and general feeling of wellbeing.

At current, I am trying Ever-slim "New Weight Loss For Moms" (TM) that I purchased from Walmart for about $20. There will be an article when I figure out if this is working for me or not. For the record, I am not dead, I didn't lose any weight with Equitrim, and I have been monitoring and responding to this article.

Marilyn - Please take the time to read through all the responses on this article, they should help you with your decision to try or not. I haven't heard of that pill though, if it's working for ya, stick with it! I may have to look it up at Walmart if this Ever-slim don't work for me. What kind of caffeine content does it have?

Thanks Betty, I'll have to check it out.

I wish you luck! I also received it in the mail, and I'm so tempted to try it since it's not that expensive, but I was trying to call them first but their phone is always busy. I tried calling at night it will ring but no answering machine.

I really hope it will work for you.

Thank you so much for all your comments. I was going to try this pill, but now i don't believe i will waste my time and money on it. I as well tried to find some information about Equitrim on the internet and had no luck. So has anyone tried a diet pill recently that really works. I don't like to work out and i am so sick of dieting?
