For four years, we looked for a house to buy. I wanted a ranch large enough for livestock, far enough away from neighbors to not be disturbed [and not disturb them], outside the city limits and away from stupid laws. We found our perfect home three years ago.
For the first year I turned my back and shut the door on many of the homeless looking for a hand-out. The guilt kept me up at night, especially in the winter. I would lie awake wondering if they were lonely, cold, hungry, or even still alive. I had seen all the homeless I could stand, and I finally decided that I needed to create a place for them to live with beds to sleep in and food enough for them to eat anytimg they were hungry, and most important ... a place where they'd be loved. I built a cat house.
This is Shredder ... our amazing and exceptional bouncer at the cat house.
