I made pulled pork in my crockpot last week, and I'm making a beef stew in it today. I highly recommend the pulled pork - you take a relatively cheap pork roast (I paid $4 for the one I used) throw in in the crockpot with a bit of water and some slices of onion, set it on low and then leave it alone. An hour or so before you want to eat it you take it out, pull it apart with a couple of forks so it's really nicely shredded, then put it back in to crockpot with a bottle (perhaps 2) of bbq sauce (I used a honey and mesquite one) and let the sauce cook into the meat. I served it with fresh kaiser rolls and some coleslaw, and it was G-O-O-D. Matter of fact, I'm serving that when my in-laws come for a visit next weekend.
Happy cooking!
